A person who is deceived believes with all their heart that what they believe is right, while in fact they are wrong. Remember it was the good side of the tree of good and evil that attracted Eve, not the evil side. The tree looked good. Evil disguised as good.
What is purpose and point of all of this? Why would God give us the knowledge to create computers, AI and robots? Why would he give us wisdom to invent a combustion engine but not the wheel? All is connected, all has a purpose to bring us to Himself. AI has the potential to deceive, also a sign of Revelation. People will believe what AI says. Revelation says even the most elite will be deceived.
“For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24
